Meet Morgan
I'm Morgan Traxler, the owner of Motown Entertainment. I run events across Maine with one goal: keep the crowd moving and the night on track. Good music, clean sound, and a mic that doesn't overdo it.
I keep my rates competitive because great entertainment shouldn't blow the budget. Weddings, parties, rallies — I show up ready to work.

Do you travel outside Ellsworth?+
Yes, I travel outside of Ellsworth as long as you're willing to cover the travel fee. I regularly work events across Downeast Maine and beyond, so just send me the venue location and I'll include travel in your quote.
How far in advance should we book?+
I recommend booking at least 5 months in advance, especially for weddings and peak-season events. That gives us time to plan the music, lock in your date, and go over all the details without rushing.
Can you take song requests?+
Yes, I take song requests. We can build a must-play list beforehand, and I'm happy to take requests during the event as long as they fit the vibe and keep the dance floor moving.
Do you need power at the venue?+
Yes, I need a power source. A couple of standard outlets near the performance area are usually all it takes — I bring the rest of the gear.
